What began as a small family-owned farm, has grown into a regenerative project to heal the soil, reforest the land, and bring our community closer to nature. Finca La Lucia offers a space to restore and reconnect where you can wander the trails, harvest your own vegetables, join a workshop and gather by the bonfire. Come with friends, or come alone, the farm will hold you, nourish you, and remind you of life’s simple pleasures.

At the heart of the farm is the harvest. Over a thousand Hass avocado trees flourish alongside organic vegetables, coffee, and herbs, nurtured by our cows and chickens. Every harvest reflects our joy in celebrating and sharing the vibrant flavors of the season.

The farm takes its name from the Santa Lucía flower, whose purple blooms cover the mountain each spring.

At Finca La Lucia, we believe shared experiences are what bring communities together. Our farm offers an unforgettable setting for private events, whether you’re hosting an intimate gathering or a grand celebration. We prepare every detail, from the tables to the finishing touches, so you and your guests can simply arrive and enjoy. For a moment, the farm is yours. With views over the sweeping Pico Blanco valley, each event unfolds in a setting that is both intimate and unforgettable.

Each four-hour booking includes exclusive use of our pergola and bonfire spaces, a fully set table, and a meal prepared over the fire by our chef.

Our curated workshops offer an idyllic location for artistic expression and creative exploration, conveniently located just 15 minutes from Escazu. Discover traditional pottery, unwind with breathwork, learn to capture light and shadow with watercolor, and so much more. All our workshops are taught by a team of talented local artists ready to share their craft with you.

Visit Us

We open the farm on the first Saturday of every month for Mañanas de Conexión, where you and your family can harvest your own vegetables, enjoy a yoga class, and share breakfast in our pergola. You can also visit us through one of our workshops or events, or book the farm exclusively for your own private experience.

On the first Saturday of every month, we open the farm to families to connect with the land, harvest their own vegetables, and enjoy a morning in the countryside.
